Yeronga Community Centre

Delivered under a Design and Construct model, the Yeronga Community Centre comprised a new two-storey, multi-purpose facility with associated car parking and external works at the former TAFE site in Yeronga, Brisbane.

The contemporary building was configured to accommodate multiple community tenants and incorporates specialised spaces including a dedicated model train room and a large industrial kitchen. High-level decorative timber ceilings and a varied internal colour palette contribute to a modern and welcoming internal environment suited to a broad range of programs and events.

Early constraints relating to temporary power and the complexity of multi-tenant certification at close-out were managed through proactive sequencing and coordinated stakeholder engagement. The project was completed on time and within budget, delivering a functional, adaptable and well-integrated civic facility designed to support evolving community needs into the future.
