Leadership at Bryant is defined by presence, not position. Our directors and senior team bring decades of hands-on experience across Queensland and the Northern Territory — guiding projects with clear thinking, accountability and care.

They lead from the ground up, staying close to clients, crews and communities to ensure every project runs smoothly and safely. Supported by specialists in corporate services, health, safety, environment and Indigenous partnerships, they maintain the focus and consistency that define Bryant’s approach — calm, capable and dependable.

Amy Young

Crystal Anderson runs the technology behind Bryant’s projects and corporate services. As Systems Manager she manages Bryant’s digital infrastructure and the platforms the business works in — JobPac, Procore, SharePoint, ViewPoint and HammerTech. She also handles IT procurement, vendor contracts and the integrations between systems. Where off-the-shelf software falls short, she builds internal tools to fill the gap.

Crystal joined Bryant in 2016 and has worked in construction since 2013. She came up through HSEQ and project administration, and still runs Bryant’s internal system audits. That grounding shapes how she approaches technology: she understands the business process before she changes the software behind it. She has spent a decade rolling out systems to site teams and training the people who use them.

Crystal Anderson

As Head of Finance, Helena oversees financial management and reporting across the business, supporting Bryant’s operational and leadership teams with accurate financial information, analysis and insights to inform effective decision-making. Her methodical approach, strong analytical capability and understanding of financial governance help ensure robust financial controls and compliance across the organisation.

Helena holds a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Accounting, from James Cook University and is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand.

Katrine joined Bryant Building Contractors as an HSEQ Advisor in 2018 and has led the HSEQ function since 2019. When she started, HSEQ was a single role. She has since built it into a 14-person team: an HSE manager, a quality manager, three HSEQ coordinators and nine HSEQ advisors. Under her leadership, Bryant recently passed 15 months without a lost time injury.

Katrine moved Bryant’s management system from AS 4801 to ISO 45001. She now keeps the business certified to ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001, and has kept its Federal Safety Commissioner accreditation for more than seven years which lets the company bid for Commonwealth-funded work.

In 2021, she led the company-wide rollout of HammerTech and still manages the platform. It gives her one view of safety reporting and compliance across Bryant’s projects in Queensland and the Northern Territory. She uses that data for board-level reporting and trend analysis, so her team puts its effort where the risk is.

Katrine brings more than 15 years of HSEQ experience across construction, mining, rail and property development. Before Bryant, she worked with Macmahon Contractors and McConaghy Group. At Macmahon, she helped cut the lost time injury frequency rate by 25% and the total recordable injury frequency rate by 45%. She holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety from QUT and is a qualified lead auditor in OHS.
