The New Engineering Facility at Tara Shire State College delivered a purpose-built vocational training precinct designed to strengthen trade education pathways within a regional community.

Delivered under a Design and Construct model, the project involved demolition of an existing single-storey structure and construction of two new facilities comprising a modern engineering workshop and specialist training rooms. Minor external upgrades and refurbishment of the existing workshop were also completed to enhance functionality and integration across the campus.

Constructed within a live school environment, the project required proactive program management and clear stakeholder communication to manage latent conditions while maintaining overall schedule certainty. As a milestone regional project, the development was delivered to a high standard and received strong positive feedback from both the client representative and school leadership. The completed engineering precinct provides durable, industry-aligned learning environments that support practical skills development and long-term educational outcomes.
