The St Joseph’s College Bus Shelters project delivered a series of new structures designed to enhance student safety, improve traffic flow and provide weather-protected access across the campus.

The works comprised construction of a dedicated bus shelter to house school buses and provide a safe, covered waiting area for students accessing larger commercial coaches, as well as a separate pick-up and drop-off shelter positioned within the internal ring road to support efficient and controlled student movement. The project also included a new concrete staff carpark accommodating 48 vehicles, complete with integrated lighting and security monitoring to ensure a safe and secure environment.

Delivered within a live school setting, the project required careful planning and coordination to minimise disruption to school operations and surrounding properties. Through effective staging, traffic management and stakeholder engagement, the works were successfully completed, providing functional, well-integrated infrastructure that enhances safety, accessibility and overall campus usability.
