Santa Barbara Road Apartments, Hope Island

Located at Hope Island, the 19 Santa Barbara Road project delivered a contemporary NDIS residential development designed to provide high-quality supported accommodation within a well-connected coastal setting.

The project comprised a two-storey building accommodating six specialist disability apartments, incorporating integrated ground and first floor construction, a suspended driveway and associated external works. The development was designed to support accessibility, functionality and independence, aligning with specialist disability accommodation requirements while maintaining a high-quality residential finish.

The works required detailed coordination of design, construction sequencing and stakeholder engagement, particularly in relation to authority approvals and integration of external services. Through proactive program management and effective subcontractor coordination, the building works were progressed ahead of schedule, with resequencing implemented to manage delays associated with external connections. The completed facility provides modern, accessible accommodation that supports the delivery of specialist disability services within a high-quality built environment.
