The Pyramid Residential Care Centre project involved an extension to the existing aged care facility, delivering additional accommodation and upgraded spaces to support the ongoing needs of residents and staff.

Delivered within a live operational environment, the project required careful staging, stakeholder coordination and strict programme management to minimise disruption and maintain continuity of care throughout construction. The works were completed within a tight timeframe and coincided with an extensive tropical wet season, requiring proactive planning and adaptive site management to maintain programme performance.

Key challenges included the creation of new aged care rooms and the associated decanting of existing resident accommodation, together with modifications to operational office areas while remaining fully functional. Through detailed coordination and close collaboration with stakeholders, the project was successfully delivered to the client’s satisfaction, providing a well-integrated extension that enhances the overall functionality and capacity of the facility.
