The Oaks Hotel Cairns project delivered a five-storey, 80-room boutique hotel located on the Esplanade, featuring a rooftop bar and landscaped garden designed to maximise views and guest experience.

Constructed above existing live retail tenancies, including 24-hour operations, the project required careful staging, structural coordination and stakeholder management to maintain uninterrupted trading throughout the build. The development integrates high-quality accommodation with activated ground-level uses, creating a vibrant and functional hospitality destination.

Through disciplined planning and delivery, the project was successfully completed to a high standard and was recognised at the 2021 FNQ Master Builders Awards, receiving the award for Best Tourism and Leisure Facility over $10 million.
