Oakey State High School

The Oakey State High School Multipurpose Hall project delivered a new sports and performing arts complex designed to enhance both physical education and cultural programs within a live school environment.

The versatile facility incorporates a large indoor playing court capable of accommodating multiple sports configurations, a dedicated kinesiology/gym room and a performing arts stage suitable for assemblies and school productions. Supporting amenities include storage areas, kiosk facilities and ancillary spaces that enable efficient daily operations and event hosting.

Delivered within contractual timeframes despite adverse weather and service-related challenges, the project benefited from early geotechnical optimisation and targeted value management initiatives that elevated finish quality while maintaining budget certainty. The completed hall provides a high-quality, flexible venue that supports sport, performance and whole-school gatherings, strengthening the school’s long-term infrastructure capability.
