The redevelopment at Mitchelton State High School delivered two major facilities that strengthened both creative and digital learning capabilities within the campus.

Works included transformation of the former sports hall into a contemporary Performing Arts Centre, incorporating a performance stage, gallery, green screen room, automated glazing and integrated audio-visual systems. In parallel, a new split-level IT Hub was constructed, featuring Montessori-style classrooms, an IT design studio and landscaped external tiered areas to support collaborative learning.

Delivered within a live school environment, the project required disciplined program control, detailed design coordination and careful management of variations and integration with existing structures. Both facilities were completed ahead of their respective completion dates, providing innovative and future-focused environments that enhance student engagement and curriculum delivery.
