Mechanical Upgrades to Hospitals

The Mechanical Upgrades to Hospitals project involved the replacement and upgrade of critical air conditioning systems across multiple healthcare facilities, including full system replacements at Tully and Innisfail Hospitals and upgrades at Mareeba Hospital.

Delivered within live hospital environments, the works required careful planning and coordination to maintain uninterrupted operations and uphold strict health and safety standards. Particular consideration was given to the proximity of nurses’ accommodation, with construction activities programmed to minimise noise disruption for shift workers, alongside stringent controls to maintain sterile conditions.

Through adaptive programme management and close stakeholder coordination, the project was successfully completed, delivering reliable, efficient and compliant mechanical systems that support the ongoing operational requirements of the healthcare facilities.
