McDowell State School

The project delivered a new sports hall incorporating associated amenities and external landscaping works, providing a modern and functional recreational facility for the school community.

The development included construction of the sports hall together with new WC amenities and surrounding landscape improvements, creating a well-integrated space designed to support sporting, school and community activities.

Early stages of the project were impacted by unforeseen ground conditions requiring remediation works, presenting challenges to programme delivery. Through proactive management, detailed coordination and strong communication between Bryant, the school and John Blackley Architects, issues were identified and resolved early, enabling the project to be successfully delivered ahead of the revised program and to a high standard of finish.
