The MacGregor State School project delivered additional accommodation comprising 16 General Learning Areas (GLAs), constructed across five separable portions within an active school environment.

Located in Sunnybank, the project involved delivery of new learning facilities in the centre of a live campus, requiring careful staging and coordination to maintain safety and minimise disruption to daily school operations. The works also included significant civil upgrades such as stormwater infrastructure, swale drains across the oval and earth mounding to address flooding risks, with services crossing a major arterial road.

Delivered within a constrained inner-city setting, the project required night works to complete critical infrastructure upgrades without impacting traffic on Robertson Road, as well as demolition of six existing buildings—most containing asbestos—within a limited holiday period. Through disciplined planning and effective site management, the project was successfully delivered on schedule and within budget, providing high-quality, contemporary learning environments for the school community.
