Government Facilities
Construction
South Burnett
The Kingaroy Police Station and Watch House project delivered a new purpose-built policing facility designed to meet the current and future operational needs of the region.
Delivered across five separable portions, the project involved demolition of existing buildings and staged construction of new facilities, including a Scenes of Crime building, a new Watch House with partial car parking, and a new Police Station with associated site works and remaining car parking. The works were carefully sequenced to maintain full operation of the existing Police Station and Watch House throughout construction.
Undertaken within a live, high-security environment, the project required detailed staging, controlled site access and strong coordination to ensure continuity of critical services. The completed development forms part of a prominent civic precinct alongside the Courthouse, delivering a modern, functional and highly visible facility that reflects the importance of policing services within the Kingaroy community.
