Groote Eylandt Day Care Centre

Located in the remote community of Groote Eylandt in the Northern Territory, this Design and Construct project delivered a purpose-built childcare facility designed to support early learning and community needs.

The development comprised a 50-place day care centre, incorporating functional and compliant spaces tailored to childcare operations, with consideration for the local environment and long-term usability.

Delivered in an isolated setting, the project required careful logistical planning and coordination to manage materials, workforce and programme constraints. Through proactive value engineering and efficient project delivery, the facility was completed on schedule while achieving a significant cost saving, providing a high-quality and cost-effective outcome for the client.
