Delivered under a Design and Construct contract, 34 William Street, Goodna comprises a specialist disability accommodation development designed to meet NDIS requirements and provide high-quality, accessible living environments.
The project includes six two-bedroom SDA apartments, a dedicated one-bedroom overnight onsite assistance unit and a multipurpose space, creating a supportive and adaptable residential setting. The design prioritises accessibility, functionality and durability, ensuring compliance with SDA standards while maintaining a contemporary residential character.
Efficient sequencing and proactive program management enabled practical completion within five months of foundations despite early ground and service constraints. Design refinements, including conversion of upper-level external walls to lightweight framing, enhanced buildability and construction efficiency. The completed development provides secure, modern and purpose-built accommodation supporting residents with complex care needs in the Goodna community.
