Ferny Grove State High School

Delivered under a Design and Construct contract, this project enhanced both the performance and administrative capabilities of Ferny Grove State High School through two integrated stages of works.

The first stage comprised a new Multi-Purpose Sports and Performing Arts Hall incorporating a full performance stage, retractable grandstand seating, sprung timber floor, change and prop areas, staff amenities, kitchenettes, box office and kiosk facilities. The second stage delivered an extension to the existing Administration Building, providing additional meeting rooms, breakout areas and expanded office accommodation for senior leadership.

Constructed within a live school environment, the works required careful management of site access, high-risk activities and staged delivery to maintain safety and continuity of operations. Value management initiatives and alternative system selections enhanced functionality while maintaining budget certainty. The completed facilities provide flexible, high-performance spaces that support sport, performing arts and school administration in a modern, adaptable setting.
