Energy Queensland Workshop – Stage 2 (Maryborough)

The Energy Queensland Maryborough Depot Stage 2 project delivered the refurbishment and fit-out of Buildings 2 and 8 as part of the broader upgrade and modernisation of the operational depot.

The works comprised extensive internal demolition and full interior fit-out, together with installation of a new access lift, external cladding upgrades and construction of accessibility ramps to improve functionality and compliance. External works included landscaping, resurfacing and extension of existing car parking areas, enhancing overall site operations and presentation.

Delivered within a live operational depot environment, the project required careful staging, stakeholder coordination and maintenance of uninterrupted site access and services. Despite challenges associated with latent conditions and evolving design requirements, proactive program management and adaptive delivery ensured a high-quality outcome. The completed refurbishment provides modern, efficient and accessible workspaces aligned with Energy Queensland’s operational and workforce needs.
