Located within Bunya Mountains National Park, the Dandabah Day Use Area and Campground project delivered significant upgrades to visitor infrastructure aimed at improving accessibility and enhancing the overall visitor experience.

The works included construction of a new interpretive centre building, refurbishment of existing amenities and approximately 150 metres of suspended timber boardwalk integrated within the surrounding natural environment. Additional elements comprised a new timber bridge, stormwater infrastructure, roadworks, extensive concrete pathways and landscaped areas, together with free-standing stone pitched retaining walls designed to complement the natural character of the park.

Delivered within an environmentally sensitive national park setting, the project required careful planning and construction methodologies to minimise environmental impacts while maintaining high-quality finishes across bespoke elements such as stone pitching and timber structures. Through detailed trade coordination and proactive procurement planning, the works were successfully delivered while preserving the natural landscape and enhancing the functionality of the Dandabah visitor precinct.
