This Design and Construct project delivered a five-level social housing development at 44–46 Cinderella Drive, Springwood, providing 35 contemporary apartments designed to support diverse accessibility requirements. The development comprises a mix of Platinum, Gold and Silver/Gold units, with seven apartments per residential level, supported by basement and on-grade parking.

The building was carefully planned to create secure, adaptable and high-quality living environments, complemented by landscaped external works that enhance amenity and accessibility. Design development included performance-based solutions addressing waterproofing and balcony threshold detailing to achieve compliant, durable and cost-effective outcomes aligned with Departmental requirements.

Constructed within a constrained urban site bordered by high-voltage powerlines, the project required rigorous safety planning, exclusion-zone management and redesign to ensure statutory compliance. Despite external service authority constraints impacting program sequencing, disciplined coordination and proactive stakeholder engagement supported delivery of a modern, accessible housing asset that responds to the growing demand for social and supported accommodation in the Springwood community.
