Centenary State High School

Located in Jindalee, this project delivered a new Practical Learning Centre designed to support creative and hands-on education for senior students within the campus.

The purpose-built facility comprises eight General Learning Areas, a dedicated dance and drama studio, green room and amenities block, complemented by external tiered seating to accommodate outdoor performances and gatherings. The design provides a flexible and engaging environment that encourages collaboration and supports a diverse curriculum across performing arts and practical subjects.

Constructed within a live school setting and in close proximity to existing facilities, the project required careful staging, proactive stakeholder engagement and disciplined site management to maintain safety and continuity of school operations. The completed centre strengthens the school’s capacity to deliver contemporary, experience-based learning in a modern and adaptable setting.
