Bundaberg South Apartments (37 Walker Street)

The 37 Walker Street development in South Bundaberg delivered specialist disability accommodation comprising six NDIS apartments, dedicated carer accommodation, a multipurpose room and secure lock-up parking, supported by landscaped external works.

The project was assumed following a prolonged period of site inactivity, with the ground slab and Level 1 structure already in place. A detailed review and rectification process was undertaken to address inherited construction issues, ensuring compliance, structural integrity and quality outcomes prior to progressing the works to completion.

Strong engagement with established local subcontractors supported efficient resourcing and site coordination within the Bundaberg region. Through disciplined management, proactive procurement coordination and focused stakeholder communication, the development was successfully delivered, providing safe, inclusive and high-quality accommodation that supports independence and dignity for residents under the NDIS framework.
