Aurukun Splashpad

The Aurukun Splashpad is a purpose built recreational facility – essentially a water park – which includes a kiosk, shade structure, synthetic turf and BBQ. The objective was to create an area for young children to play safely without the requirement for lifeguards, and for the community to enjoy together for years to come. The delight in children’s faces enjoying the park facility says it all.
